  • Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - 1926 - 2022

    Fri 09 Sep 2022

We are deeply saddened at the death of Queen Elizabeth II and send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family who have lost a much loved mother, grandmother and aunt. They will hold their grief tightly as they prepare to lead a nation in mourning, with all eyes on them. We cannot imagine how hard that must be. The death of a much loved and respected public figure will undoubtedly have a huge impact on the nation, and may also trigger grief from our own experiences too. What supports and comforts is kindness, compassion, connection. Reach out to others, check in with those you know who have recently lost loved ones, ensure no-one is alone in their grief. Rest in Peace, Your Majesty, and thank you for a life dedicated  to your country.

2022 saw the welcome return of Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge to Moulsham High School. On 25th February 32  Year 10 students took part in an all-day workshop to develop their public speaking skills. It was a roaring success! Four students were selected for round two to determine who would be the school’s representative at the regional final.

It was a tough decision but Hamciha S and Mya M were selected to represent the school. The regional final took part on Thursday 12th May at William de Ferrers School in South Woodham Ferrers.  It was an exciting, captivating night and our two students did the school proud!
