Statement from Miss Mead on the passing of Mr Brown, Assistant Head of Sixth Form and teacher of Science
Mon 03 Feb 2020Jeff Brown was a much loved and respected member of our school community. As a dedicated, popular teacher of Science and Assistant Head of Sixth Form, he positively influenced the lives of a great number of students. His passion for physics inspired many of our pupils to continue studying the subject at both A level and university. He will be greatly missed by both staff and students. Our thoughts are with his family, wife Louise and their two boys.
We are very aware that many of our students will be deeply upset by Jeff’s passing. Any student who requires support during the school day should either go to the Pastoral Office if they are in Years 7-11 or the Sixth Form team in the Chaucer Building if they are in Years 12 and 13.
