  • Year 12 A Level German students attend British Film Institute German Film Day

    Wed 26 Jan 2022

Last Thursday, Moulsham High School Year 12 German A level students, had a day in London BFI learning about the legacy of East Germany through film. The whole day was conducted in German, with a presentation and activities in the morning followed by a screening of ‘Goodbye Lenin’ in the afternoon. It was lovely to see such a huge auditorium packed with German A level students! The girls did amazingly and surprised themselves by how much they understood! We finished the day at the 'Bierschenke' near Liverpool Street, with some ‘typisch deutsches essen’. All in all, a wonderful German day right on our doorstep!

  • Vicky Ford MP visits Moulsham High School

    Mon 10 Jan 2022

On Friday, Vicky Ford MP visited Miss Mead and Mr Blenkin to hear how the start of term has been going. Mr Blenkin demonstrated new initiative, 'robot student'. If a student needs to be out of the classroom for example for medical treatment then they can use one of these robots. The robot is equipped with camera and speakers. It is put on a desk at the front of the class and the student can control it remotely to look around the class and signal if they want to ask a question or take part in a discussion. This has really helped students to keep in touch with classes even if they can’t physically be there.

  • Important return to school announcement regarding face coverings!

    Sun 02 Jan 2022

*An important message from our Headteacher, Miss Mead*

The Department For Education has today recommended that face coverings should be worn in classrooms as well as communal areas from 4th -26th January when the Government's Plan B restrictions will be reviewed.

Please could you ensure that your child brings a face covering to school with them when term begins on Tuesday, unless they are exempt.

We sincerely hope that there will not be any disruption to your child's education this term and the wearing of face coverings is one measure that will help the school to continue operating normally.

    Thank you
