• Bridge Academy Trust to take on responsibility for four more schools in Essex

  Bridge Academy Trust has this week agreed to apply to take on responsibility for four more schools in Essex, currently the responsibility of the North Essex Multi Academy Trust. If approved by government the four schools, based in Braintree, Halstead and Witham, will join Bridge Academy Trust from 1st April 2021. Bridge Academy Trust was identified as the preferred new Trust for the schools from 11 MAT’s that were considered, and the fact that it was the preferred choice is an endorsement of the quality of the education for children that Bridge Academy Trust has ensured in partnership with the schools currently in its Trust.

   

  The development will have no negative impact on your children's education or for the staff at their schools. In fact, it will help to further strengthen the quality of that education—creating more opportunities for teachers and school leaders to collaborate, to share resources and to learn and grow professionally together, ultimately benefitting the education of children in Bridge schools.

• MHS Sixth Form Open Evening

  This year our sixth form open evening will be virtual.  All content will be available live on our website from 9am on Thursday, 12 November.

   

  You will be taken on a virtual tour of our campus and hear from Headteacher, Miss Mead, Heads of Sixth Form, Ms Engelbrecht and Mr McKeown and Assistant Head of Sixth Form and Head of Year 12, Miss Ritchie. You'll also get to hear from Head Boy, Jack and Head Girl, Annie to really give you a students perspective.

  Information on how to apply will be provided and our prospectus, course information booklet and an informative PowerPont presentation will all be available to download.
