Master of Science in Microwaves and Optics
7 years as a Research and Development Engineer at Marconi Research, followed by 14 years at the RF Technology, ERA Technology, designing high performance antennas for Communications Satellites, Radio Astronomy, and Military Radars. After a move to Texas, Barry worked VP of Engineering for Vertex Comms before the company was taken over by General Dynamics. Having moved to Dorset, Barry now works as a consultant for General Dynamics.
Nicholas L 1973 - 1978   Principal Wedding Cake Designer at Woodnutts, creating cakes for large London hotel's, including Claridges, The Ritz and the Savoy. Commissioned to create cakes for the Royal Family, including a wedding cake for Lady Diana and Prince Charles, the Queen Mother's birthday, and the Christening of Prince Harry.
Having written over a dozen cookery books, as well as instructional videos and DVDs, Nicholas co-founded The International Sugar Art Collection (ISAC), and The International School of Sugar and Confectionary Arts.
Neil B 1976 - 1982   Former English cricketer who played as a wicketkeeper/batsman for various clubs but spent the majority of his career at Leicestershire and Somerset. In 2004, following the end of his playing career, Neil re-formed the London County Cricket Club which had been founded by WG Grace - which he continues to manage.

Philip W 1983 - 1990 De Montfort University Fellow and Tutor in English at Somerville College, University of Oxford.
Dr Philip works on early modern English literature, with a particular interest in poetry of the seventeenth century. His previous research has focussed on George Herbert and Henry Vaughan, and he is now editing the poems of James Shirley for Oxford University Press.

Ben C 2002 - 2009   Professional Squash Player becoming U23 national champion, part of the Great Britain senior team, and has won 9 PSA World Tour titles.
Ben is now ranked #1 in Essex and #56 worldwide.

Since starting work in 2014, Stevan has gone on to design a 22km long cable tunnel below Morecambe Bay connecting Sellafield Nuclear Power Station into the National Grid, alongside working on the Crossrail project in London alongside some of the most prestigious construction projects across the UK.
