Some of Moulsham High School's Music students attended the Music for Youth Regional Festival in Southampton recently.

'Music for Youth’ is a national music education charity, providing free access to performance and audience opportunities for young musicians across the UK, through its annual festivals, competitions and concerts. The organisation arranges events across the UK at which any group, aged 21 and under, can perform. The festivals showcase all styles of music and are a great opportunity to receive feedback from music industry professionals.

Moulsham High's Samba Band and choir (Las Estrellas) wowed audiences with their amazing performances. Judging feedback was glowing. We now await the result to see if either or both ensembles have progresses through to the national stage held in Birmingham in July this year.

RE students at Moulsham High School recently undertook a Counties UK #GSUSLive interactive learning experience where they explored the themes of fear, forgiveness and rejection through video experiences and interaction with virtual youngsters of a similar age.

They were invited to provide advice and guidance to their virtual counterparts' problems and issues on these themes, whilst also reflecting on whether their feedback and views matched Christian beliefs and teachings.

A very worthwhile experience to accompany their studies!
