WW1 Centenary Ceremony
It is not only necessary to remember the First World War but imperative. In remembering this day, we not only reflect upon this courage and bravery of the men who fought, but also the freedom we gained through their heroic efforts. Although this day not only reminds us of the past, it also becomes symbolic in remembering the present. In this day and age, we are still faced with the conflict and hostilities of the world, therefore we should learn from the mistakes of the past in order to prevent them from becoming the mistakes of the future. This significant 100 year landmark is incredible to comprehend, reminding us that even hundreds of years later we shall not forget.
