School Uniform Donations
Tue 21 Jul 2020Dear Parents/Carers
We would be very grateful if any unused/no longer needed school uniform could be donated to the school.
If you have any of the below items which you would be happy to donate, please may we ask that you wash the items and pop them into school by the end of this week. There will be a rail/table outside reception where your items can be left, if you can spare any hangers to accompany the items this would be very helpful.
- Trousers/Skirts
- Ties
- Shirts
- PE kits
- Blazers
We thank you very much for your generosity.
Kind regards
MHS

Moulsham High School ranked best non-selective school in Essex
Fri 10 Jul 2020Moulsham High School was yesterday named the number one non-selective school in Essex by The Real Schools Guide.
The Guide ranked MHS as the 10th best school in the county overall*, and 230th nationally.
Miss Mead, Headteacher said “I am incredibly proud that we have been recognised by The Real Schools Guide as the best non-selective school in Essex. I know what a fantastic school we have but for others to recognise this reinforces everything we have accomplished and continue to strive for. It’s been an unprecedented few months for our students, their families and our staff but we look forward to the new academic year and welcoming our new students in September.”
Now in its seventh year, The Real Schools Guide aims to give a more comprehensive picture than traditional league tables. It takes into account 51 different data points; as well as GCSE results and Attainment 8 scores, it also considers factors such as Progress 8, pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates.
* MHS ranked 10th in Essex, behind nine selective schools, therefore making it the number one non-selective school.
