  • Year 13 Leavers' Parade

    Thu 24 May 2018

Thursday 24th May 2018 - Moulsham High School’s annual leavers’ parade for our year 13 students took place today, and featured students in a variety of inventive fancy dress costumes.

Over 100 year 13 students took part in the event, which marks their transition from full-time students to formal study leave. The procession gathered in Oaklands Park before walking along Princes Road with accompanying honks of encouragement from passing traffic.

The group then walked up through the Infants and Junior schools, cheered on by students of the schools who lined the pathway to watch them walk past. Lead by Noah and the animals of his ark, the parade then wove through the ground of the high school before coming to an end at the Chaucer Building where they were met by staff members waiting to wish them well.

Mrs Hughes, Head of Sixth Form, said “We are so proud of our sixth form students and their achievements over their years at Moulsham. Today was a culmination of passion and creativity that was an inspiration to all students who came to wish them well on their last school day.

Photos of the event can be found in the media gallery on our website, or on our Facebook page.
