Last weekend saw four of our running stars represent Mid-Essex in the Essex Schools Cross Country Championships. We’re incredibly proud to say that all four of our students, Tom W, Hannah B, Faye S and Lauryn W have been picked to represent Essex at the Inter Counties Championships in Chelmsford next month.

 

Heading to Liverpool in March for the English Schools Cross Country Championships will be Tom W, who was star of the day winning his junior boys race and becoming Essex champion. Lauryn W who came 6th in the inter girls race and Hannah B, who achieved fourth place in the senior girls race. Lauryn, Tom and Hannah making it to the championships is a record for the school who have never had so many students representing both us, and Essex, in the competition.

 

A fantastic achievement for all and you should be very proud, on behalf of MHS, congratulations and good luck!
