National Cross Country first round success for MHS students
Wednesday 18th October 2017 - Moulsham High School has once again shown how skilled their students are with yet another sporting success story from the first round of the recent National Cross Country Championships.
Teams that finish in the top 3 progress on to the finals during November.
Junior girls Year 7 and Year 8 winners were: Poppie G – 13th, Anna L- 27th, Heidi R 29th, Rebecca S 31st, Rebekah L 53rd, Lily Y 57th , plus Team 6th position.
Junior boys Year 7 and Year 8 winners were: Tom W 3rd, Tom I 7th, Daniel P 13th, Alexander L 22nd, Jacob A 27th, Ben B 31st, plus Team 3rd position.
Inter girls Year 9 and Year 10 winners were: Hannah B 1st, Lauryn W 2nd, Olivia R 10th, Faye S 16th, Sienna W 28th, Lauren D 42nd, plus Team 1st position.
This means that both the junior boys and inter girls have made it through to regional finals!
Mrs Whitmarsh from Moulsham High School said: “All students worked really hard, showing commitment and excellent teamwork throughout. Congratulations and well done. We look forward to taking part in the Regional Finals.”
