Henna for Thriftwood Event on Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 October
As part of Diwali celebrations, our sixth form students will host a henna stall during break and lunchtimes on Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 October, outside the coffee shop. Students can get a temporary henna design for £2.00 per hand. Please be aware that henna tends to last on the skin for approximately one – two weeks.
The aim of the event is to not only raise cultural awareness and diversity but also to raise money for our annual Christmas party for pupils with complex needs that attend Thriftwood School.
Please sign the consent on the letter sent home if you are happy for your son/daughter to participate in this event. They should bring the reply slip with them to the henna stand. Students will not be able to have a temporary henna design without consent from their Parent/Carer.
