Netball Update
Year 7
We have a busy season with limited numbers we have managed to filed a team for every game. All players have shown great commitment to training a even in the colder darker months!! Games have been against some strong opposition with one victory this year. Massive improvements have been made across the season and hopefully with some new members who still want to join next season we will go from strength to strength. Special mention to following for help sorting teams Poppy Everad, Ellie Nevelle and Katie Arthurton as well as been core members of all of our games.
Year 8
Earning promotion form last year, the team was determined to continue their winning ways. They achieved this with flying colours with some games being won by 20 goals! With their last game against Becket Keys on the 19th March, with a convincing win of 17-4, they secured top spot of Division 2 . This now means they will be promoted to division 1 next year.
They have also competed in the district tournament on the 20th March. Playing a round robin the team came second to Great Baddow. Again the whole season has been strong and commitment will need to continue to win some games next year in the top division. (photo attached of district winning team)

Year 9
Again gaining promotion from last year games have been tough this year. Players have shown great resilience and determination in some very close games. They wins will hopefully help to maintain their position in division 2 for next year. Also special mention goes to Izzy Bower, Emma Sweeny and Mathilda Thatcher for help with checking teams.
As well as this along with Emily Holmes they have regularly helped out with coaching of the year 7and 8 teams. All showing fabulous leadership skills!
Year 10
Playing in a higher division this year, we have seen closely fought games. The whole team has worked hard to progressing ball down the court as well as using the channels - favourite phrase!
The final game highlighted their ability work well as unit coming form behind to beat Brentwood County High School. Special mention goes to Sophie Lawrence and Katie Cox - who have also developed their coaching skills at the 7/8 training sessions.
Well done all, season finished now, but look out for a potential summer league club in summer term.
