Yesterday a large number of our students went to the district athletics at Melbourne Stadium.  We had a massive number of our students making finals and it was probably one of our best ever days as we produced a number of district champions and top three finishers. Star of the day was DOUBLE DISTRICT CHAMPION Chimuka H who won the high jump and 100m breaking the district record by running 11.11 seconds.  Unfortunately there was not time for the relays due to the day over running but I am sure he would have become triple district champion if this had been run as they had made the finals.
