Tuesday 10th October 2017 - On Tuesday the 10^th of October members of 71M went with Mr Dallas to visit the Mosque in Chelmsford for a tour and talk about Islam. Sidra Naeem, who accommodated the visit on behalf of the Mosque, invited the students to dress up in various Muslim clothes from around the world, and to get involved with the presentation through interactive questioning and discussions.

 

Mr Dallas said  “Not only did the students learn a lot about Islam as a traditional world faith, they also learnt a lot about multi-faith communities and what it is like to be a British Muslim.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and represented the school extremely well.”

 

Sidra Naeem said  “I found the children from Moulsham High School to be very respectful, extremely well behaved and very intelligent. They had a good knowledge of Religious Education as well as Geography. They were enthusiastic to participate in the hands on activities and had a keen interest to further their knowledge!”
