Classrooms

Moulsham High School has 90 classrooms available for hire, including standard and specialist rooms.

Standard Classrooms

A standard classroom holds 25 people, and comes with desks and a Smart board.

Standard classrooms are ideal for:

• Tuition classes
• Evening schools
• Small meetings

Specialist Classrooms

We have a number of specialist classrooms which can hold between 25 and 30 people, and come fitted with specialist equipment available for use.

 Specialist classrooms are ideal for:

•  Cookery schools
• Science clubs
• Drama clubs
• Music tuition or rehearsals
• Computer-based learning

Meeting Rooms

Moulsham High School has several meeting rooms available for hire, seating between 8 and 200 people.

Meeting Room

Our meeting room is suitable for small medium-sized meetings, and includes access to a whiteboard for presentations.

• Includes: conference table, seating, whiteboard
• Seats: up to 8 people

Conference Room

Our conference room is suitable for large meetings, and includes access to a Smart Board for presentations.

• Includes: conference table, seating, Smart Board
• Seats: up to 18 people

School Refectory

Our school refectory is suitable for large meetings, and includes bench-style seating and water machines. The kitchen area is also available for hire.

• Includes: optional bench-style or chair seating
• Seats: up to 150 people

School Hall

Our school hall is suitable for conferences, productions, concerts, or large group gatherings.

• Includes: stage area, optional seating, projector
• Seats: up to 200 people

Grass Pitches

Moulsham High School has a superb selection of grass pitches available to hire throughout the summer and winter months.

Pitch Types

• 2x full size football pitches, one with adult goals and one with youth goals (as per FA guidelines)
• 2x full size rugby pitches
• Running track
• Jumping pit
• Throwing Areas
• Cricket Strip

Gymnasium

Our large gymnasium is suitable for a range of activities. Please note that the gymnasium is not available for hire between mid-November and mid-December or during the summer term.

3G Football Pitches

Moulsham High School can offer football clubs a full international size third generation football pitch which can be divided into three seven-a-side pitches. The synthetic surface is designed to replicate the performance and playing characteristics of a natural surface and is floodlit, offering all year-round use.

The 3G pitch sizes are as follows:

• Main Pitch (White - Mini Soccer, typically 7-a-side): 55m x 37m
• Over-markings (Red - U7, U8, 5-a-side): 37m x 26m each, with 3m between the two pitches

• Football club training sessions and matches
• School and community group use
• Corporate events such as 6-a-side tournaments
• Inter-company team building exercises

Hard Courts

The outdoor hard courts at Moulsham High School are extensive and of the best quality. We have 6 tennis courts and two netball courts, and can also provide access to changing rooms and toilets.

Sports Hall

Our 4 court Sports Hall can cater for virtually every indoor sport and all equipment can be provided.

If you are looking to make regular bookings, you may wish to take advantage of our block-booking contract which offers discounted rates if you book more than 10 sessions at a time.

Swimming Pool

Moulsham High School's 20 metre indoor swimming pool has the capacity for 6 lanes. We also offer optional swimming aides, lane ropes, and water polo equipment.

The price of hire includes use of changing rooms and showers.
