- [JM1] Students should consume a substantial breakfast before they leave for school.
- Students who arrive before 10am should report to Main Reception.
- By avoiding a lunch period, the school ensures that less water, ice, snow etc. is brought into the buildings, in order to maintain health and safety standards.
- The early finish allows for students to travel home slowly and safely, and in full light; this also provides an opportunity for the Site Team to make the school ready for the next day (potentially, before things ice/frost over etc.)
- If the school is open in snowy conditions, snowballing is prohibited.
N.B. In the event of the school being unable to open at all, lessons will be via TEAMS and Satchel 1. On Day 1 of such a closure, lessons will begin at 10.05 am (period 2). On any subsequent days, lessons will follow the normal school day.
Staff should remember to take their laptops home so that they are able to access TEAMs and Satchel 1.
