Record A level results for Moulsham

Students at Moulsham High School once again achieved outstanding results in their A-level examinations, with the school yet again enjoying its best ever set of results.

  • Over two thirds of all grades achieved were A*, A or B grades, with over 84% achieving A*-C grades.
  • The school achieved an exceptional pass rate in every academic A-level and vocational subject taken with 75 A*/A grades.  Subjects that saw exceptional performances included Chemistry, English Literature, Film Studies, Further Maths, Geography, Government and Politics, Maths, Psychology, Sociology and the Languages.

Mark Farmer, Headteacher, said: "The school is very proud of the considerable efforts and achievements of all of our students.  It is as a result of their hard work and good work ethic, combined with excellent support from staff and parents, that they have achieved these record- breaking results.  I am delighted that Moulsham's students will leave the school as successful, rounded individuals with every opportunity to flourish in the future.  Given that a significant number of students achieved A*, A and B grades it would not be fair to single out any individuals as all the Year 13s performed extremely well".
