MOULSHAM’S CROSS COUNTRY SUCCESS
Moulsham High Girls Cross Country Team did exceptionally well in the Essex School’s cross country competition, held in Upminster last month.
Faye S came in third place and Rachel B came in fourth place in the Essex Schools Competition. The results mean that both students have been selected to represent Essex in the English Schools Competition during March.
Lauryn W came ninth in the race and Olivia R finished fourteenth, meaning that they will be representing Essex in the Southern Inter-Counties Cross Country Competition.
Mrs K Whitmarsh, PE teacher who has supported the girls throughout the competition said:
‘Rachel and Faye have achieved remarkable successes for being picked for Essex in the English Schools. For Rachel this is her fifth year in a row and for Faye her second year in a row. Their hard work, dedication and talent have been rewarded and we are all very proud of their continued achievements.’
