Moulsham High School Achieves Enhanced Healthy School Status

Moulsham High School has yet again achieved the Enhanced Healthy School Status, which will be valid for the next three years.

The award is given to schools that provide additional education regarding personal, social and health issues, such as drug and sex education, as well as providing healthy and nutritious food to their students, encouraging and providing opportunities for physical activity, and outstanding teaching of emotional health and wellbeing.

The Healthy Schools Quality Assurance Group met in December 2016 where they signed off the schools story that was submitted.  In recognition of the hard work and impressive outcomes that Moulsham had achieved during 2016, to improve the health and wellbeing of the students through a whole-school approach, meant that Moulsham High School successfully met the criteria to achieve the Enhanced Healthy Schools Status.

An Awards Ceremony will be held on the 10th March 2017.  Mrs Morrish Head of Faculty for Citizenship and PRE will be attending to receive the award on behalf of MHS.
